Exploring the Sweetness of Life: Peach Fuzz Chronicles

January 24, 2024

Anticipation reaches its peak as color experts (wielding substantial influence across the design landscape) unveil the much-anticipated Pantone Color of the Year for 2024. Renowned for setting major trends worldwide, these authorities have declared Peach Fuzz Pantone 13-1023 TCX as the vibrant and invigorating hue destined to define the design narrative in the coming year. They describe this fresh, yet comforting, shade of peach as that inviting “warm, fuzzy feeling.” Here are six irresistible luxury home decor styles in this soothing pink-orange hue.
I am sure your IG feed is full of new trends and styles for the coming year. You may have even noticed the color selected for 2024 as the color of the year is a bit fruity. New year, new look – and new color!
Pantone’s Peach Fuzz is the ideal summer color—and for that, we’ve got you covered. Our ever-popular selection of indoor/outdoor luxury decorative pillows includes peachy-pink intricate pieced designs, handpainted citrus fruits, and frilly tassels. Whether you’re preparing for summer or you’re making sunny vibes last all year round, this palette takes us to sunset on the beach—Paloma in hand.

Daydream in color with this updated bedding set, a modern take on bohemian floral. A moody botanical print takes centerstage in its luxury duvet cover, embracing contemporary tropical and global aesthetics in blushing peach.

Global Allure gets a sleek modern makeover in this designer collection. Linear cut embroidery, graphic-patterned sheets, and exotic kilim-inspired motifs bring home its eclectic yet versatile aesthetic. Swap out our standard navy-blue Euro shams for these sleek orange-peach Euros, creating a warmer look. It may not be an exact match to the peachy keen color but it is a strong nod to the hue while keeping a slightly edgier feel.

Jetset to the sunny shores of Belize just by stepping into your bedroom. Featuring palm tree embroidery and tropical prints, this cheery luxury bedding collection pairs Hilton Head poise with a touch of kitschy fun. Various tones of blushing pink and punchy orange come together in this collection, in a palette inspired by tropical fruits.

This print reminds us of the Silk Road: a series of lively marketplaces, full of wealth, great design, and beautiful goods from far-away lands. This luxury bedding collection contrasts cool navy with bold tangerine, with peach hues offering a softer accent in decorative pillows and curtain panels. These curtain panels will upgrade any space, a home office or guest room and there are many options to coordinate with them for pillows, bedding, etc.

Want to take the color to the next level? Find a space that you can saturate in the color. This room went above and beyond when embracing this warm color just in time for 2024.

This is not the first time we have seen the peach color palette come across our design boards. A few years ago, we used a deeper shade for a guest suite on Lake Norman. While we worked to keep the room predominately neutral, the pops of the room are a definite version of peach fuzz. Fun patterns, a custom chair with the exact match of the fabric and artwork that highlights the pizazz of this color in the bedroom as well as towels and accessories in the bathroom will welcome guests in a style that screams hotel suite.

Peach fuzz may not be the color that gets your design juices flowing, but when used in ways that highlight how fun this color is while keeping it class,y this Pantone color of the year may be a winner after all.
