rosPushing the boundaries of Kitchen and Bath Design is the Name of the Game for 2024
Market season is in full swing, and we are excited to share some of the latest and greatest launches that brought sent design devotees to Las Vegas for the 2024 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS). From scalloped concrete sinks to flower-shaped faucet handles, we had a hard time narrowing down our favorites from KBIS. This year, the event saw a record turnout of vendors and visitors and delivered on innovation and creativity that indicates we have an exciting year ahead. From color trends to strides in sustainability, here are the 2024 kitchen and bath trends we predict will be big for 2024.
2024 Kitchen and Bath Trend : Green Is King
While they were definitely not the only company showing off their green hues, Kohler brought some of our favorites. Kohler introduced three archival nature-inspired hues into its wildly popular Heritage Colors collection. The first, Fresh Green, is an avocado shade that dates back to 1971, while Aspen Green offers a silvery sage hue and Teal, a deep blue-green—all of which can be applied to an assortment of contemporary tubs, sinks and toilets.
All faucets are not created equal, and if there were a gleaming takeaway from KBIS, it’s that the nuances on fixtures certainly do not go unnoticed to the discerning eye. Rather, those small yet mighty details add to the aesthetic story of the kitchen space. Take House of Rohl’s new Apothecary line was inspired by the old-world feel of apothecary bottles,

Statement Tile Is Everywhere
While the grid pattern is certainly hot at the moment, polka dots are not too far behind. But more importantly, large-scale tiled patterns are growing in popularity and demand. For example, Artistic Tile released for a collection of stone designs that are bold and impactful—and whose use is encouraged beyond the kitchen and bath (think: entryways, feature walls). Who needs art when you have bold tile to do all the talking? We are always in favor of making a statement with tile and skipping ordinary is clearly the trend this year!
2024 Kitchen and Bath Trend Alert : Magnetic Induction is a Main Attraction
Ever the buzzword, sustainability is top of minds for many in the design industry. Depending on where you stand in the type of energy you prefer for cooking, you may say that it is trendy and an opportunity for companies to market a new product for many much like we change from gray to taupe and back again. However, the technology has come a long way from past years not only in performance but also style. It remains to be seen if magnetic induction will be here to stay and replace gas as he leader or electric as the easy standard for homes nationwide.
Pros and Cons of Magnetic Induction – A limited tech lesson
The pros? They are more efficient that electric (85% to the 80% of electric and sometimes 3xs that of gas.) Powersource should be fine – if you have a 240 volt for your electric range, you are most likely ready to go. The cons? They are still pricey, sometimes $1000.00+ more than their counter parts. You have to be very careful with spills or boiling over. An immediate clean up and anything acidic can be quite problematic. The same goes for cleaning products. Also, magnetic induction cooktops require specific pots and pans. You can’t use whatever pan you grab out of the cabinet. GE has a product guide, shared here for their magnetic induction line.
Bertazzoni’s newly launched Carbonio suite is equal parts sexy and sleek. Inspired by the elevated, high-performing paint finishes used for sports cars, the collection spans six cutting-edge kitchen appliances—including the Professional Series 48-inch induction range—in a handsome graphite-colored matte finish.
Monogram’s booth at the show was overflowing with tech-savvy, of-the-moment designs. In addition to a new line of professional-grade induction ranges and a wall-mounted hood with a built-in indoor-air-quality sensor. Definitely something to consider when remodeling your kitchen!
2024 Kitchen and Bath Trend Designers are showing up in full color
For example, Dolce & Gabbana’s latest collection for Smeg, Blu Mediterraneo, is a love letter to the Mediterranean Sea. The debut introduces a selection of highly collectible, ocean-blue-and-white designs—each adorned in the former’s iconic maiolica motif—into the brand’s ongoing collaboration, including a full-size refrigerator, a mini fridge, a range cooker, a hood, and an espresso machine.
Cabinet Hardware in 2024 kitchen and bath trends
Emtek’s Habitat collection was on full display at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Available in half a dozen finishes, such as satin brass, polished chrome and oil-rubbed bronze, the line comprises four streamlined hardware designs—including knobs and pulls—with smooth contours meant to mimic the shape of pebbles. In addition, Top Knobs came through with beautiful options as well. Also, we can’t forget to mention that green was showing up in the cabinet hardware staying on trend.
